Brookfield Music Fest was great success
Thank you to all who attended our third annual Brookfield Music Fest for making it another tremendous success. Once again, Brookfield was alive with fest-goers from all over who had a great time and a fun and safe evening.
Your enthusiasm and support is greatly appreciated. Thanks also to our sponsors: Burke Beverage, Suburban Life and other local media outlets.
Be sure to circle the date for our Oktoberfest, Sept. 26: Twelve bars. Twelve bands. Free trolleys. German beers. Brats and sauerkraut.

Theatrical production was something to behold
If you missed the Riverside Township Junior Theater Guild’s production of “Babes on Broadway,” presented at the Riverside Town Hall July 21 and 23, you missed one of the best amateur theatrical performances by a group of very talented children. A big round of applause goes to Jeanne Sheehan, Debbie Alm, Darel Glaser and all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this production such a huge success!
As Riverside Township supervisor, I am pleased that Riverside Township played a “small role” in bringing this production to the residents. There are so many talented kids who took part in this production, I can only say prepare yourselves for the next generation of Broadway talent.
Rich Tuscher, Riverside Township supervisor
