The Jan. 17 agenda for the Elementary School District 102 board meeting will be short to allow time for a discussion on what many believe is a pressing need for space in the district’s five schools.
Ten residents were named to the spring-semester dean’s list at Dominican University, River Forest. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must attain a minimum 3.8 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Students include La Grange Park residents Benjamin Boyd and Meghan Brunette; Lyons resident Eileen Cahill; Riverside residents Edvardas Kuprys and Catherine Skokna; and Westchester residents Susan Battersby, Andrea Chua, Kathryn Favia, Joseph Saraceno and Maria Saraceno.
La Grange Park residents Christiana Lee, Danielle Lampariello, Robert Rodgers, Daniel Schovain, Kristina Petkus, Maureen Lee and Sarah Egner were named to the spring-term dean’s list at DePaul University, Chicago.
First-year students Jeremiah Harris of La Grange and Darvis Ward of La Grange Park participated in Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa, summer orientation advising and registration days, which included meeting with advisers, registering for classes and completing necessary paperwork.
