The Elementary School District 102 Board of Education is considering increasing class sizes and reducing the teaching staff as a means of saving as much as $350,000 annually.
Between 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected to fall today — and another 5 to 7 inches could fall through Wednesday evening, bringing total snow accumulation up to a foot, according to the National Weather Service.
