The Lemont Junior Woman’s Club, a volunteer organization that provides financial support to worthy organizations in the Lemont community, announces the launch of its new Web site at lemontjuniorwomansclub.org.
“The Web site is a vehicle for the club to communicate to Lemont and its surrounding areas on how the club is impacting our community and also how they can get involved,” said Dawn Plachta, public relation chairperson for the Lemont Junior Woman’s Club.
The ‘How Do You Do?’ Hostess program welcomes newcomers to the town with a bag full of promotional items from local businesses and is always looking for new businesses in Lemont to join the bag. The site also has a “Members Only” section to keep club members up-to-date on club activities and information.
New features include the “Events Calendar,” which enables visitors to view all club activities month by month for the entire year, and “The Lemont Juniorettes” pages, highlighting the service organization for 12 to 18-year-olds, provides information on club meetings and how young girls can get involved in the Lemont community.
