Mass for veterans to be celebrated at St. Cletus July 4

A special Mass honoring military veterans will be held 8 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 600 W. 44th St., La Grange.
Bishop Thomas Paprocki of the Chicago Archdiocese will celebrate the Mass.
The event, sponsored by the Holy Names Society, includes a 40-piece band directed by parishioner Ed Ward that will perform a musical salute to the services.
Ex-service men and women are encouraged to wear their uniforms, insignias, ribbons and medals.
An honor guard from the Robert E. Coulter, Jr. American Legion Post in La Grange will present the flags as part of the processional and recessional before and after Mass.
Hospitality for all will be provided on the parish lawns under a tent immediately following the church services.
