Charles and Teresa Peterson of Western Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Peterson, to Neil Davies, son of John and Irene Davies of Homer Glen, Ill.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lyons Township High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a doctorate of physical therapy from Northwestern University. She is employed as a physical therapist at Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Providence Catholic High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University. He is employed as a financial advisor at Wachovia Securities in Naperville.
The wedding is planned for October 2008.
