Katie Lelis and Rob Bukala have announced their engagement. Katie is the daughter of Lorinda Lelis and Paul Lelis of Lyons. Rob is the son of Ron and Mary Bukala of Alsip, Ill.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Morton West High School. She earned a certificate in massage therapy from Northwestern Business College. She is employed as a dispatcher at a police department.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University. He is employed as a detective at a police department.
The wedding is planned for July 2008 at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont.
