Mr. and Mrs. Francis Bomher of Hinsdale and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Rost of La Grange Highlands announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Pat Bomher, to Andrew Campbell, son of Mrs. Dorothy Campbell of Battle Creek, Mich., and the late Bruce Campbell.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Nazareth Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. She is pursuing a master’s degree in environmental leadership from Duke University. She is employed as a project engineer for Environmental Resource Management.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in mathematics from Michigan State University. He is employed as a superintendent at Praxair.

The wedding is planned for August 2008 in Old St. Mary’s in Chicago. The couple will reside in Chicago.
