Tractor stolen

Huntley police received a report Aug. 20 that a model 6410 John Deere Tractor was stolen from the Home Depot Construction site. The value of the tractor is $50,000.

BBs shot at house

Huntley police received a report Aug. 22 that an unknown person shot a BB at a house in the area of 10600 Golden Gate.

Man arrested for license violations

Jose G. Acevedo, 22, 1373 Algonquin Rd., Elgin, was arrested Aug. 25 for improper display of registration, driving with a suspended license and unlawful use of a drivers license, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Minor arrested for alcohol consumption

Karolina Hajdas, 20, Chicago, was arrested Aug. 25 for improper lane usage, having no proof of insurance, consumption of alcohol by a minor and zero tolerance, according to police. She was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Man arrested for DUI

Keith N. Shaffer, 53, 1945 Fargo, Des Plaines, was arrested Aug. 26 for driving under the influence and DUI over .08, according to police. He was also cited for improper turn. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Gas stolen

Huntley police received a report Aug. 26 of the theft of gas valued at $52.43. The gas was reported stolen from Mobil.

Garage door damaged

Huntley police received a report Aug. 22 of criminal damage to property that occurred sometime between Aug. 20 and Aug. 21. Police said several dents were made in a garage door near 13500 Yellowpine. The estimated cost of the damage is $250.

Construction equipment stolen

Huntley police received a report Aug. 23 that several ladders and construction equipment were stolen from a home under construction near 10200 Humboldt. The estimated value of the stolen equipment is $6,000.

Woman arrested for DUI, numerous traffic offenses

Dedra Bauman, 47, 808 Oak Manor Dr., Marengo, was arrested Aug. 17 for failure to reduce speed, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle, failure to report an accident, disobeying a police officer, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance, according to police. She was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Julio C. Lopez-Hernandez, 19, 803 E. Prairie St., Marengo, was arrested Aug. 27 for speeding, driving with no insurance and driving without a license, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Man arrested for alcohol, license violations

Michael A. Vecchiollo, 39, 800 Greenlee St., Marengo, was arrested Aug. 27 for illegal transportation of alcohol and having no valid drivers license, according to police. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.

Man arrested for traffic offenses

Julio C. Murga-Risco, 32, 2305 Pennview, Schaumburg, was arrested Aug. 27 for having no valid drivers license and speeding. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and released after posting bond.
