Children needed for 'Beauty and the Beast' auditions

Steel Beam Theatre announces auditions for children ages 9 to 16 for their production of "The Tale of Beauty and the Beast" from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at the theatre, 111 W. Main St., St. Charles.
No preparation is needed. Children will be taught a song from the show, and may read from the script. Carrie Dabelow directs and seeks a cast of 22. Tuition, if cast, is $250, with scholarships available to families in need.
