Achievements

• Jennifer Banjavic, Robert Paulsen and Melissa Toynton of Huntley and Laura Gibbons of Marengo were named to the spring 2007 dean’s list at Illinois State University.  

• Patrick H. Llyod of Huntley was named to Columbia College’s March session 2007 dean’s list.

• Diana Eleanor Gualillo and Drue Deanne Robertson of Marengo were named to Iowa State University’s 2007 spring semester dean’s list.

• Daniel Ryan McDonald of Huntley was named to Creighton University’s 2007 spring semester dean’s honor roll.

• Kelly Leigh Hassing of Huntley was named to St. Norbert College’s 2007 spring semester dean’s list.

• Jill Jones of Marengo was named to Ripon College’s 2007 spring semester dean’s list.

• Rebekah E. Aavang, Jessica E. Palmer and Stephanie A. Ross of Huntley, and Christopher M. Ruemelin of Marengo were named to Bradley University’s 2007 spring semester dean’s list.

• Lizabeth J. Hare of Marengo was named to Millikin University’s spring semester 2007 dean’s list.

Degrees

• Christina Hansen, daughter of Richard and Susan Hansen of Huntley, graduated May 13 from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. She will practice as an associate veterinarian at Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska. Dr. Hansen is a 1999 graduate of Huntley High School and she received her bachelor’s degree in 2003 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

• Brett A. Borchart of Huntley received a bachelor’s degree in May from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

• Patrick H. Llyod of Huntley graduated magna cum laude from Columbia College – Elgin in May with a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing.
