The 2008 Windy City Ski & Snowboard Show runs Friday, Oct. 24 from 3 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg. A celebration of success for children who began life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at Central DuPage Hospital Cafeteria, 25 N. LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, the first of its kind complementary cancer care facility in the Fox Valley region, is offering a second series of its popular special health program entitled Six Weeks of Wellness.
