JuniorRANK.com will hold its first youth football combine Saturday, June 27, at Lake Barrington Field House in Lake Barrington.
Over 200 6th to 9th grade football players from throughout the Midwest will have their kills evaluated in four categories: 20 and 40 yard dashes, vertical jump, agility shuttle and one on ones. All participants will have a profile on the JuniorRANK.com website, and the top 20 performers will be featured on the main page with customized graphics and a unique player profile.
The combine will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with JuniorRANK founders Shaon Berry (a former University of Pittsburgh running back and youth football coach) and Martin Bayless (a former NFL player and coach) offering tips and pointers for participants. Former NFL players Steve DeBerg, Jack Trudeau, Jeff Christensen and former Chicago Bear Chris Martin will also be on hand to lend their expertise.
