Stroyteller Megan Wells takes church stage Aug. 24

“Stories for a Summer Afternoon” will be presented at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, at First Presbyterian Church of La Grange, 150 S. Ashland Ave.

Storyteller Megan Wells and local theater student Hope Coon will be telling fairy tales adapted from the Oscar Wilde collection.

The Rev. Cat Knott will sing two ballads to complete the afternoon program.

Donations will be collected for The Caring Place, an after school tutoring program sponsored by the Second  Baptist Church of La Grange.
