Tom and Sue Sedlacek of Brookfield announce the engagement of their son, Thomas Brandon Sedlacek, to Kristin Mae Schaffer, daughter of Jim and Kathy Schaffer of Oswego.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Oswego High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Illinois University in 2006. She is employed with Oswego School District 308.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Riverside-Brookfield High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Illinois University in 2006. He is employed with BMO Capital Markets in Chicago.
The wedding is planned for July 2009 in Yorkfield Presbyterian Church in Elmhurst.
