Men face battery charges
Manuel Ocampo, 22, 134 S. Hale Ave., Bartlett, was charged with battery at about noon Dec. 31 at his home, according to police reports.
Jose Rosas, 30, 135 S. Hillcrest Lane, Bartlett, was charged with battery at about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 30 at his home, according to police reports.
Nathan Johnson, 24, 816 Forest Court, Bartlett, was charged with battery at about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 2 at his home, according to police reports.
Drunken driving charged
Zachary Hammer, 19, of Pingree Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration and a lighting violation. Police said they arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol at about 2 a.m. Dec. 30 at Route 59 and Stearns Road.
Adam Weldzius, 28, of Carpentersville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 2 a.m. Jan. 4 at Route 59 and Schick Road, according to police reports.
Michael Martinez, 23, 1420 Birchbark Trail, Carol Stream, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and driving with one headlight at about 4 a.m. Jan. 3 at Route 59 and Woodland Hills Road, according to police reports.

Michael Johnson, 33, of the 400 block of Silverleaf Drive, Carol Stream, was charged with domestic battery at about 6 p.m. Jan. 1 at his residence, police said.
Woman charged with DUI
Jennifer Valentino, 23, 601 Burns Ave., Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence and expired registration at about 12:30 a.m. Jan. 6 near the intersection of Commonwealth and St. Charles roads, police said.
DUI charges filed
Francis Harrington, Jr., 48, 734 Bluff St., Carol Stream, was charged with driving under the influence, not yielding the right of way to an emergency vehicle, and no insurance at about 12:30 a.m. Dec. 13 near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Scott Drive in Bloomingdale, police said.

Woman charged with theft
Dorothy L. Marshalla, 79, of Addison, was charged with retail theft after police said she allegedly stole a telephone, towels and other items from a department store at about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 5 along the 100 block of Army Trail Road, police said.
DUI charges filed
Jesus Sota, 38, no address given, was charged with driving under the influence and several traffic charges after police said he was pulled over at about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 3 near the intersection of Army Trail and Glen Ellyn roads, police said.
Firecracker damages door
Stephen C. Kozlowski, 19, and Theodore J. Mcjoynt, 22, no addresses given, were charged with possession of fireworks after police said the two allegedly threw a firecracker at a balcony of a residence, damaging a glass door.
The incident occurred at about midnight Jan. 4 along the 1500 block of Jill Court.
Police said more charges may be pending, as they were waiting for a landlord to decide if he will press charges for property damage. No damage estimate was given on the glass door.
