Alcohol charges filed

Jonathan Smith, 22, 1657 Briarcliffe Boulevard, Unit H, Wheaton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper turn at an intersection and failure to display a driver’s license at about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 10 at Blanchard and 22nd streets, according to reports.

Police arrested Kurt M. Wolpert, 24, of Chicago for driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal parking at about 1 a.m. Nov. 11 at Elmwood Drive ad Roosevelt Road, according to police.

Julio Gonzalez, 23, of Naperville was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license, speeding and failure to signal at about 1 a.m. Nov. 12 at Butterfield and Naperville roads, according to reports.

Police arrested Corinne A. Brown, 32, of Streamwood for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding at about 1 a.m. Nov. 15 at County Farm and Roosevelt roads, according to police.

Police arrested Jose L. Lopez Soto, 22, 2033 Golfview Court, Unit 1A, Wheaton, for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle at about 4:15 a.m. Nov. 18 at Butterfield and East Loop roads, according to police.

Jennifer C. Kinser, 28, of Winfield was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding at about 2:15 a.m. Nov. 18 at Chase Avenue and Roosevelt Road, according to reports.

Police arrested Peter R. Mula Jr., 53, of Palatine for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding at about 2 a.m. Nov. 18 at Butterfield and East Loop roads, according to police.

Jacques P. Lacour, 23, 1402 Wales Drive, Wheaton, was arrested at about 1 a.m. Nov. 20 at Fapp Circle and Roosevelt Road for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage, according to police.

Police arrested Linda A. Feilen, 51 0N040 Evans Ave., Wheaton, for driving under the influence of alcohol at about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at Jewel Express in the 200 block of East Geneva Road, according to reports.

Trent S. Turner, 25, 26W477 Geneva Road, Wheaton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failing to signal at about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 22 at Gary Avenue and Geneva Road, according to police.

Police arrested Sergio Ortiz, 38, of Hinckley for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding and improper lane usage at about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 23 at Roosevelt and Country Farm roads, according to reports.

Earl E. Danner, 59, of Roselle was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at Butterfield Road and Scottdale Circle, according to police.

Kevin M. Emanual, 26, of Chicago was arrested at about midnight Nov. 27 at Evergreen Street and Ott Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting an officer, no driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle, failing to signal and no valid registration, according to reports.

Police arrested Johnathan P. Dye, 22, of West Chicago for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at 12:45 a.m. Nov. 28 at Roosevelt and Warrenville roads, according to reports.

Drug counts charged

Police arrested Mark A. Huelster, 19, of Lombard for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane usage at about 11:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Geneva Road and President Street, according to reports. Passenger James M. Miltz, 20, of Lombard faces charges for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Mariel E. Baergen, 26, of Glen Ellyn was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane usage at about 12:20 a.m. Nov. 14 at Brighton and Dorset drives, according to reports. Passenger Amanda C. Cavarretta, 20, of West Dundee also was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Police arrested Tyler J. Wallace, 22, of Glen Ellyn for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a police officer, driving while license is suspended and unlawful use of a driver’s license at about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 300 block of Rice Lake Square, according to reports.

Police arrested Vincent M. D’agostino, 1587 Friars Court, Wheaton, for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding at about 12:30 a.m. Nov. 27 at Farnham Lane and Naperville Road, according to police.

Items reported stolen

Between 5 p.m. Nov. 9 and 8 a.m. Nov. 12 someone stole $635 in cash from an office in the music building of Wheaton College in the 400 block of North Washington Street, according to police.

A 24-speed bike valued at $300 was stolen between 2:15 p.m. Nov. 9 and midnight Nov. 10 from a bike rack at the east side of the Beamer Center in the 400 block of North Chase Avenue, according to reports.

Between 10 p.m. Nov. 16 and 5 a.m. Nov. 17, someone broke the front right window of a 2001 Lexus RX300 that was parked in the driveway of a residence in the 100 block of West Oak Street and took an MP3 player from the front passenger seat, according to police. The device was estimated to be worth $300 and the damage to the window about $200.

A purse was reported stolen from a shopping cart while its owner was in the bathroom at a Jewel-Osco, 2031 N. Main St., between about 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. Nov. 22, according to police. The purse was estimated to be worth about $50 and $260 in cash and various IDs were taken. Another purse was taken from the same Jewel-Osco between about 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 25 while its owner was checking out. The purse is estimated to be worth $20. Inside the purse was $60 in chase, a driver’s license and assorted credit cards, according to reports.

A resident of the 2000 block of Creekside Drive reported that someone took his push lawnmower from the parkway in front of the residence at about 2:15 p.m., according to police. The mower is valued at $500.

Between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26 someone entered an unlocked back door at a residence in the 100 block of South Pierce Avenue and took about $1,000 worth of jewelry, a brass cup valued at $20 and two unendorsed checks, according to police.

Battery count filed

Nancy J. Schneider, 49, 53 Kensington Circle, Wheaton, was arrested for battery at about 8:15 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 1200 block of East Butterfield Road, according to reports.

Man charge with assault

Ricardo Benitez, 42, 1340 N. Main St., Unit A14, Wheaton, was arrested at about 3:15 a.m. Nov. 20 for criminal trespass to a residence and assault, according to police.
