
DUI charged
• Roy Blum, 49, of Bolingbrook was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol and fleeing the police just after midnight Jan. 1 along Plamondon Road in Wheaton, according to police reports. Police discovered Blum had an outstanding warrant from Stone County, Mo., for failure to pay child support, reports state.
• Timothy Eads, 22, of Warrenville was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 3 near Stonebridge Trail and Yorkshire Woods Court, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Frankie Cooley, 54, of Bolingbrook was charged with aggravated driving under the influence Feb. 3 near Geneva Road and President Street, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Antonio Rodriquez, 40, of Glendale Heights was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 3 a.m. Jan. 27 near Bloomingdale and Geneva roads, according to Wheaton police reports.
• David Kalinowski, 22, of Carol Stream was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 2 a.m. Jan. 26 on County Farm Road, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Cynthia Cronin, 48, of Winfield was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol just after midnight Feb. 3 near Country Farm and Roosevelt roads, Wheaton police reports state.
Underage drinking cited
Michael Ebbert, 20, 525 W. Indiana St., Wheaton, was charged with possession of a fake ID and illegal possession of alcohol by a person under 21 at about 11:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at Fox Bowl, 1101 E. Butterfield Road, Wheaton police reports state.
Burglary attempted
Wheaton police responded to an attempted break-in to a basement window in the 1100 block of Hertford Court between Jan. 31 and Feb. 5. Nothing was reported missing from the house, according to police reports.
Items reported stolen
• A computer monitor worth $300 was reported missing from Wheaton College’s Williston Hall, 536 E. Franklin St. The theft occurred between Jan. 20 and Jan. 30, Wheaton police reports state.
• A snowblower was stolen from outside a house in the 400 block of Western Avenue in Wheaton during the day Jan. 29, according to Wheaton police reports.
• About $3,500 worth of possessions were stolen from a house in the 800 block of East Dawes Avenue during the day Jan. 25. Entrance was gained by breaking a window on the side door, reports state, and jewelry and a $2,500 computer were reported missing.
GLEN ELLYN
Drug charges filed
Eric Jasper, 19, 1569 Scottdale Circle, Wheaton, was charged with possession of marijuana just after midnight Feb. 2, according to Glen Ellyn police reports. Police were responding to an outdoor verbal dispute between Jasper and a woman when Jasper was observed throwing a pill bottle with less than 30 grams of marijuana onto a nearby driveway, reports state.
DUI charged
• Alexander Kamarski, 19, 390 Spruce Lane, No. 112, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 8:45 p.m. Feb. 10 near Hawthorne Boulevard and Main Street, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
• Bart Alonzo, 47, of Wauconda was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 3 on Roosevelt Road near Interstate 355, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
• Randy Willard, 24, of Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 28 on Roosevelt Road near Interstate 355, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
Tools reported stolen
About $1,300 in tools, including a $1,200 power drill, were stolen from a car parked in the 800 block of Maryknoll Circle overnight before Feb. 8; $20 in cash and coins also were taken from the car, which was not locked, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
