Theft from motor vehicle
A GPS navigation device was stolen from a Lexus parked on the 100 block of Crest Avenue overnight before May 8.

Golf equipment taken
Golf clubs and golfing gear worth about $1,200 were stolen from a garage on the 800 block of Abbey Drive  during the month leading up to May 5.

WHEATON
Theft from motor vehicle
Two electronic devices valued at $700 were stolen from a Lexus parked on the 100 block of North County Farm Road sometime May 21 morning. The car’s front passenger window also was shattered, causing $300 in damage, according to police reports.

Alcohol charges
• Rebecca Lawton, 33, 407 Ramblewood Drive, Apt. C, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 1:15 a.m. May 17 near Delles and Roosevelt roads.
• Walter Sanders, 58, of Bellwood was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 2:45 a.m. May 16 near Naperville and Roosevelt roads.
• Kurt Wiese, 47, 822 Lyford Lane, Wheaton, 47, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident at about 11:45 a.m. May 15 near Elm Steet and Naperville Road.
• Tiffany Miller, 29, 709 S. Gables Blvd., Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 6:45 p.m. May 11 near County Farm and Roosevelt roads.

Bike theft
A bicycle locked to a rack on the Wheaton College campus, 500 College Ave., was stolen along with the lock sometime during the day May 21.

Drug charges
Bobby Boyd, 21, 1002 Cherry St., Wheaton, was charged with possession of marijuana just before midnight May 12 near Willow Avenue and President Street.
