Alcohol charges filed

• Charles Bent, 18, 724 Duane St., Glen Ellyn, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol early Feb. 24 after he was seen walking along the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, according to police reports.

• A man was seen stealing almost $100 worth of liquor from the Jewel-Osco, 599 Roosevelt Road, before driving away in a blue minivan at about 7:15 a.m. March 5, according to police reports. An inventory found that three bottles of vodka, valued at $32.99 each, and either a bottle of cinnamon schnapps or rum, valued at $23.99 or $16.99, respectively, were missing, police said.

• More than $300 in alcohol was stolen from the Dominick’s Finer Foods, 880 Roosevelt Road, at about 10:45 p.m. Feb. 27, police reports state. A man and a woman were seen loading the bottles of alcohol into a cart before leaving the store in a red van, police said.

• Four Glen Ellyn teens were charged with underage consumption of alcohol after walking on Ellynwood Drive in Glen Ellyn just after midnight Feb. 23, according to police reports. Curtis Toulouse, 18, 243 Crest Road; Katie Rosch, 17, 804 Highview Ave.; John Cochrane, 18, 677 Lake Road; and Grace Krantz, 17, 874 Woodland Drive, all were charged, police said.
