
DUIs charged
• Christie Paprota, 17, of 561 Harding Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:32 a.m. on Monday, March 31, near the intersection of South Milton and Sheehan avenues, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
• Thomas Vosejpka, 53, of 330 Larch Lane, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:48 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, near the intersection of Harrison Avenue and President Street, according to Wheaton police reports.
Retail theft alleged
• James Ingram, 30, of 1205 Cheltenham Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged with retail theft at 10:24 a.m. on Friday, April 4, Glen Ellyn police reports state.
According to reports, Ingram was found with a $90 bottle of muscle supplement and an $11 of hair gel, which police believe he took from two stores at a 585 Roosevelt Road shopping center.
Motorcycle stolen
• A 1993 Honda CBR 900 motorcycle was stolen from a parking lot at 562 Pershing Avenue between 2 and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
The metallic blue motorcycle with a chrome frame had been under a tarp since July 2007. It was valued at $6,000, reports state.
Two cars robbed
• A car stereo and CD player and an iPod car adapter were stolen from two unlocked cars parked at 370 Linden St. over the weekend before Monday, March 31, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.

DUIs charged
• Madeline Close, 17, of 1635 Burning Trail Court, Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:52 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, near the intersection of Butterfield and Naperville Road, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Robert Berliner, 49, of Winfield was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:01 p.m. on Tuesday, March, 25, at the intersection of Beverly Street and Roosevelt Road, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Alex Golloso, 36, of Carpentersville was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, near the intersection of Cole and Gary avenues, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Thomas Vosejpka, 53, of 330 Larch Lane, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:48 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, near the intersection of Harrison Avenue and President Street, according to Wheaton police reports.
• Stacey Hofert, 36, of South Elgin was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:03 a.m. on Friday, April 4, at the intersection of Wiesbrook and Butterfield roads, according to Glen Ellyn police reports.
• Angela Jansons, 38, of 1494 Cantigny Way, Wheaton, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:56 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, on President Street, according to Wheaton police reports.
Store theft reported
• About $60 was stolen from a cash draw at the 820 E. Roosevelt Road Jimmy John’s sandwich shop overnight before Monday, April 7, according to Wheaton police reports.
Police believe entry was gained by breaking the glass on the front door. Damage was estimated at $800, reports state.
Car robbed overnight
• A radar detector and $90 in cash were stolen from a 2008 Dodge Charger parked at 30 Sterling Court sometime overnight before Saturday, March 29, according to Wheaton police reports.
