Wheaton Warrenville South student tazed

A Wheaton Warrenville South High School student was tazered at the school Thursday morning after resisting arrest and battering an officer, according to to Wheaton police.
Two Wheaton police officers were on the scene when the incident occurred at the school on 1993 Tiger Trail, Detective Division Commander James Volpe said. The school's liaison officer called for back up after the student resisted arrest for charges that are still being reviewed by the states attorney's office.
The student was charged yesterday with resisting arrest and battering a police officer.
