Kay Kendall, executive director of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce, has announced she will step down in February.
Kendall cited family circumstances in her decision, according to a press release. Her resignation will be effective Feb. 29.
Kendall, who is away on a previously scheduled trip until Monday, Oct. 22, was not immediately available for comment Thursday morning.
The chamber is formulating plans for a search process to replace Kendall, the release stated.
Kendall has been with the Chamber of Commerce since September 2004. Comprising more than 360 businesses, organizations and individual members, the Chamber of Commerce serves as a networking economic hub for Glen Ellyn.
