DuPage Medical Group will dedicate the atrium in its new state-of-the-art facility in Glen Ellyn to the company’s former CEO, the late Darrell Stremler, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 430 Pennsylvania Ave. A monument and display in memory of Stremler will be unveiled to the public on the main floor.
DuPage Medical Group leadership, physicians and staff will participate in the dedication event.
The new facility will replace one of DuPage Medical Group’s original buildings that has served the Glen Ellyn area since the 1960s. The new three-story, 92,000-square-foot medical office building will continue to provide primary care and specialty services. The facility also contains state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including an MRI and 64 slice CT as well as an expanded lab. The building is expected to include 6,600 square feet of retail space and an optical boutique, which will be added in the near future.
