Help preserve history of Glendale Heights

The Glendale Heights Historical Committee is looking for donations of old photos, newspaper articles and other items noting the village’s past.

The items will be displayed at the Historic House, 311 Windy Point Drive, in an effort to preserve the village’s history and to educate  children of the community.

Items, including photos, can be dropped off or mailed with a note describing them to: Gina Thorson, Public Relations, 300 Civic Center Plaza, Glendale Heights, IL 60139 or via e-mail at gthorson@glendaleheights.org.

Residents looking to submit items must include a label that includes their name, and address, e-mail address or telephone number.  Photos and articles will be copied and returned or they can be donated to the village’s Historical Committee.
