The Elmhurst Children's Theatre kicks off its 60th season staging the classic musical comedy "The Music Man" 7 p.m. Friday and Saturdays, Oct. 24 and 25 and Nov. 1, and 2 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, at Sandburg Middle School, 345 E. St. Charles Road, Elmhurst.
The production features a cast of close to 50 performers in grades 5 through 8. All attend Elmhurst schools including Sandburg, Bryan and Churchville middle schools; Jefferson, Lincoln, Hawthorne, Field and Conrad Fisher elementary schools; and Immaculate Conception, Visitation and 4 Winds schools. The show is directed by Nich Radcliffe. Kris Sandrock is the music director and Megan Simmons is responsible for choreography.
