Village Theatre auditions scheduled for 'House of Blue Leaves'

Village Theatre Guild of Glen Ellyn announced its auditions for the classic absurdist comedy, "The House of Blue Leaves" by John Guare, at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Nov. 2 and 3, at the theatre on Park Avenue and Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.
The show opens on January 16th and runs for four weekends. There are roles for four males and six females of varying ages. Auditioners will be asked to perform selected monologues and do cold readings from the play itself. Scenes and monologues can be viewed at www.villagetheatreguild.org.
