Theft at the theater
At 8:08 p.m. May 23, Cynthia L Guddendorf, 39, 75 Chelsea, Sugar Grove, fraudulently claimed to own a portable gaming system that was lost earlier at The Randall 15 Theater, 550 N. Randall. The item was valued at $250. Guddendorf was taken into custody. She posted $100 bond and was released with a court date of June 9.
Drunken-driving alleged
Eric M. Calvillo, 37, 1161 W. Wilson St. No. C, was cited for drunken driving, fleeting or eluding a police officer, improper lane use, speeding, disobeying a stop sign, violating minimum speed regulations and failure to signal at 12:03 a.m. May 18. Calvillo was arrested at Western and Wilson. Calvillo was released with a court date of June 24 after posting his driver’s license and $100 bond.
ST. CHARLES
Tool reported stolen
A pneumatic impact wrench worth about $1,000 was reported stolen at about 9:45 p.m. May 10 from a pickup truck bed on the 1000 block of South Second Street.
Car tires slashed
The tires of about a dozen vehicles reportedly were slashed between 6 p.m. May 14 and 1:45 a.m. May 15 on the 900, 1000 and 1200 blocks of Dean Street and the 200 block of North 15th Street.
Homeless man arrested
Theodore J. Psichalinos, 50, who police describe as a homeless man residing in St. Charles, was charged with criminal trespassing and aggravated assault at about 3:30 p.m. May 17 for allegedly lunging at a police officer who came to Lundeen’s Liquors, 137 S. 16th St. The police were called because Psichalinos allegedly refused to leave the premises after he was denied service.
Retail theft charged
Brittany M. Soto, 19, of Elmwood Park was charged with retail theft at about 2:30 p.m. May 18 for allegedly stealing clothing worth about $44 from Kohl’s, 3840 E. Main St.
