CORR: United States Army Convoy passes through Geneva

Geneva, IL -

At 1 p.m. Saturday, the Military Vehicle Preservation Association Transcontinental Motor Convoy will travel through Geneva.

The Geneva Police Department warned there could be potential traffic delays, as the planned route will be Fabyan Parkway to Kirk Road, Kirk Road north to Route 38 and Route 38 west out of Geneva.

North and south traffic will be limited as the convoy moves west on Route 38.  There will be one westbound lane of Route 38 kept open, along with both eastbound lanes.

Traffic traveling south across Route 38 could be delayed for about 15 minutes.

Geneva police will be assisting with traffic control and direction as the convoy passes through town.

The convoy will consist of 100 vintage military and support vehicles.
