
The Geneva History Center is seeking donations and loan items from former Geneva Boy Scouts and Boy Scout leaders to help with a major exhibition planned for January 2010.
Next year is the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts and the Geneva History Center plans to mark the occasion with a new exhibition featuring images and artifacts from the Geneva Boy Scouts throughout the years.
The History Center is specifically looking for the following items: an early photo of Pack 111; a photo of early Geneva Cub Scouts involved in activities and the early Cub Scout uniform; an early photo of Troop 37 involved in activities; a photo of a Geneva Boy Scout from Troop 37 with an Eagle Scout pin; photos of Geneva Patrol leaders; Boy Scout leaders and Den Mothers in uniform; photos of Geneva Boy Scouts involved in community service; a photo of Air Scouts, Sea Scouts, Explorer Scouts or Venturing Scouts from Geneva; a photo of Geneva members in the Order of the Arrow society; a photo of Geneva Boy Scouts camping or involved in outdoor activities; and uniforms from Geneva Air Scouts, Sea Scouts or Explorer Scouts.
