Onesti Entertainment presents shows by Richard Marx and The Lettermen this month at The Arcada Theatre in St. Charles.

Marx, a Grammy-winning songwriter/producer, will appear Saturday, May 24, in an acoustic show with special guest Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon. “Right Here Waiting for You” is the No. 1 hit that propelled Marx to international stardom. Some of his other songs include “Hold on to the Nights” and “Now and Forever.” Vertical Horizon is known for “Everything You Want” and “Best I Ever Had.”

The Lettermen, a group that’s been creating musical memories for almost 50 years, performs its trademark close-harmony pop Saturday, May 31. The ensemble’s first single for Capitol was “The Way You Look Tonight,” followed by “When I Fall in Love” in 1962. Other Top 10 hits are “Theme From a Summer Place,” “Goin’ Out of My Head/Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” and “Hurt So Bad.”

The Lettermen have had 32 consecutive Billboard Magazine chart albums, 11 gold records and five Grammy nominations.

The Arcada Theatre is at 105 E. Main St. in St. Charles. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show both nights. Tickets start at $39 and are on sale by visiting www.O-Shows.com or calling (630) 587-8400.
