The North Berwyn Park District, in conjunction with KaBOOM! Playgrounds and the Walt Disney Company, are seeking volunteers to help build a playground designed by area youths on Saturday.
The new playground and garden will be fully assembled in less than eight hours with the help of more than 200 North Berwyn Park District volunteers, Disney volunteers, KaBOOM! organizers and local community residents. Volunteers will gather for a kickoff ceremony at 8:30 a.m. and are scheduled to complete the playground project in time for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
