FitzGerald's Nightclub in Berwyn is doing its part to make the winter months more bearable by bringing a warm helping of New Orleans music to Berwyn.
The promotion began with the final Chicagoland show of The Radiators earlier this month, and will kick in to high gear at 9 p.m. Saturday with a performance by Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience.
Sonny Landreth will continue the Mardi Gras season by bringing his zydeco outfit to Berwyn March 4 and 5. FitzGerald's will then heat things up with a jambalaya cook-off March 7 and a Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras party March 8.
Legendary swamp bluesman and wetlands activist Tab Benoit will round out the lineup March 19. FitzGerald’s will also be serving up Louisiana's own Abita Beer, featuring its turbodog and restoration pale-ale stylings.
