Controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, Driscoll knocked off Immaculate Conception 28-0 Friday in Addison in the Highlanders' Homecoming contest.
With the win Driscoll improved to 4-1 overall with a 2-1 mark in the SCC while IC lost for the first time since week one and fell to 3-2 on the season.
Nick Campanella opened up the scoring in the opening quarter with a six-yard touchdown reception from Steve Schwabe. The junior tailback then broke of an 89-yard scoring jaunt on the team's next possession to give the Highlanders a 14-0 lead.
The score remained that way until the third quarter when Joey Calabrese scored on a two-yard run. Schwabe rounded out the scoring with a one-yard quarterback sneak.
The Knights got interceptions from Carlos Rodriguez, Erik Hansen and Paul Hornstra but were never able to get their power running game on track.
