ELMHURST, IL -
The York volleyball team was unable to upset top-seeded and defending state champion St. Charles East on Thursday in the Class 4A Geneva sectional final.
The Dukes lost a close match 22-25, 25-18, 19-25.
Senior Lauren Zerante had 19 kills for the Dukes (28-9), who also lost to the Saints in the sectional final in 2008.
