Alcohol charges filed

• Marcus I. Thomas, 24, 2720 S. Highland Ave., Lombard, was charged with driving under the influence and driving without headlights at about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 24 near Butterfield Road and Commonwealth Drive, said police.
• Gregario Hernandez, 44, of Addison was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage at about 1 a.m. Nov. 24 on Lake Street, police said.
• Jaison A. Ratley, 22, of Maywood was charged with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding and not using a turn signal at about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 23 near Third and York streets, police said.
• Angela A. Culp, 42, 1508 S. Fairfield Ave., No. 5A, Lombard, was charged with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage at about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 22 on Route 83 between St. Charles and Roosevelt roads, police said.
• Samuel E. Heitmanek, 33, of Chicago was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage at about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 22 near North Avenue and York Street, said police.
• Adolfo Lazcano, 26, of Chicago was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and driving with an expired license at about 11:45 p.m. Nov. 21 near North Avenue and Lake Street, police said.

Duo charged after fight

Amy L. Justiniano, 19, of Bensenville and Jose Muneton, 23, of Bensenville were arrested after a scuffle at Fitz’s Pub, 172 Addison Ave., at about 12:45 a.m. Nov. 22, police said. Justiniano was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. Muneton was charged with disorderly conduct.

Prowling charge sought

Eric Davenport, 20, of Homewood was charged with prowling at about 4:15 a.m. Nov. 22 near Spring and St. Charles roads, said police.

Drug possession alleged

• Joseph Huttner, 32, 17W714 Butterfield Road, Oakbrook Terrace, was charged with possession of marijuana, speeding, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance at about 9:15 a.m. Nov. 24 near Route 83 and Lake Street, police said.
• Patricia M. Vitagliano, 43, 159 Cottage Hill Ave., No. 302, Elmhurst, was charged with possession of heroin at about 6:45 p.m. Nov. 21 near Cottage Hill and Park Avenue, said police.
• Christopher Colandrea, 24, 209 S. Riverside Drive, Villa Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, failure to yield and driving without a valid driver’s license at about 12:45 p.m. Nov. 20 near Elmwood Terrace and York Street, police said.

Vehicle burglaries reported

• Someone entered two motor vehicles in the 400 block of Oriole Avenue and stole change from the coin holder between midnight and 7:15 a.m. Nov. 21, police said.
• Someone entered a motor vehicle in the 400 block of Stratford Avenue and stole two pairs of sunglasses, together valued at $100, between 4 p.m. Nov. 18 and 3 p.m. Nov. 21, police said.
• Someone broke a window to gain entry to a motor vehicle in the 400 block of Hampshire Avenue, taking nothing but causing $200 in damage between 10 p.m. Nov. 20 and 12:15 p.m. Nov. 21, said police.
• Someone entered a motor vehicle in the 500 block of South Berkley Avenue and took a camera valued at $446 between midnight Nov. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 5, police said.

Theft charges pressed

Latony A. Brady, 37, of Chicago was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $139 of clothes from Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83, at about 4 p.m. Nov. 21, said police.

Fake ID used

Alex W. Norlander, 20, 125 N. Myrtle Ave., Elmhurst was charged with attempting to use fake identification at about 3:15 p.m. Nov. 21 at Buffalo Wild Wings, 149 N. York St., police said.

Property damage reported

Someone caused $400 in damage to lights and ornaments on the holiday tree in City Centre, near York and Schiller streets, between 5 p.m. Nov. 20 and 5 a.m. Nov. 21, said police.

• Gene Martin, 43, of Bolingbrook was charged with drunken driving, failure to give aid, failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage at about 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at St. Charles Road and Route 53, police said.
• Thomas Wagner, 45, of Lombard was charged with drunken driving, speeding and improper lane usage at about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 22 at Westmore Road and Division Street, police said.
• Jason Kribs, 31, of Chicago was charged with drunken driving, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device at about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 22 near Highland Avenue and Butterfield Road, police said.
• Rosemary Bajek, 77, of Lombard was charged with drunken driving at about 8:15 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 200 block of South Brewster Avenue, police said. Bajek was charged with drunken driving again at 8:45 p.m. in the 300 block of West Maple Street, police said.
• Jose Gutierrez, 22, of Lombard was charged with drunken driving at about 3 a.m. Nov. 23 at Meyers Road and 22nd Street, police said.

• Shanna Cardea, 17, of Villa Park and Tia Nardini, 18, of Elmhurst were charged with retail theft at about 6:15 p.m. Nov. 23 at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said.
• Bethany Whitaker, 22, of Barrington and Stephanie Penman, 20, of Lombard were charged with retail theft at about 8:15 p.m. at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said.
• Luke Ribbans, 19, of Beloit, Wis., was charged with retail theft at about 8 p.m. Nov. 24 at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said.

• Lucy Bartlett, 17, of Oak Park was charged with possession of marijuana and retail theft at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. Charged at the same time with retail theft was Katherine Heinze, 17, of Oak Park, police said.
• Ronald Birnberg, 39, of Chicago was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding at about 2 a.m. Nov. 20 at Route 38 and Fairfield Avenue, police said.
• Nicolle Griffin, 25, of Lombard was charged with possession of marijuana and attempted obstruction at about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at Main and Edward streets, police said.
• Shawn Murray, 17, of Winfield was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of tobacco at about 8 a.m. Nov. 20 at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St., police said.

Michael Josefik, 40, of Brookfield and Laura Arrichiello, 44, of St. Charles were charged with public indecency at about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 18 at FedEx Kinko’s, 801 E. Butterfield Road, police said.

• David Romito, 28, of Lombard was charged with battery and drunken driving at about 12:45 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue, police said.
• Jarrett Swift, 25, of Downers Grove was charged with battery at about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 700 block of East 22nd Street, police said.
• Eric Smith, 38, of Villa Park was charged with battery at about 8 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 1000 block of Stewart Avenue, police said.
