ELMHURST, IL - Elmhurst Drunk women arrested • Elmhurst police said Crystal L. Kelly, 22, of Lombard and Nicole M. Piekarz, 25, of Wheaton were arrested on charges of being intoxicated on a train at about 11:15 p.m. Feb. 1. Police said they responded to the Elmhurst train depot after getting a call about some unruly passengers on a westbound train coming into the station. Police said a conductor told them the two women were loud, cursing and very disruptive and had been asked several times by different conductors to calm down. Police said the conductor asked them to remove the women from the train. Police said they took Kelly and Piekarz into custody, where they continued to be belligerent. Police said the two women screamed and banged on the jail cell’s door. Police said the women were released on bond. Man’s car window smashed • Elmhurst police said a man was standing in front of a house in the 300 block of Alexander Avenue at about 2 p.m. Feb. 3 when someone broke his car window. Police said the man reported that he was outside with two friends when a red Chevrolet Blazer approached them and slowed down in front of the man’s vehicle. Police said the man reported that he heard a loud popping noise before the Blazer sped westbound down Alexander. The man’s car window was broken and the damage is estimated at $250. Intoxicated woman cited • Police said Jennifer Hansen, 33, of the 200 block of Willow Avenue, was cited with disorderly conduct at about 2:15 p.m. Feb. 3. Police said they responded to an area around Haven and Schiller streets after receiving a call from the Fire Department about an intoxicated woman. Police said fire officials reported than Hansen had stumbled toward their truck. Police said they transported Hansen to the local hospital due to her intoxicated state, where she continued to act belligerently and had to be restrained. Police said Hansen was released from the hospital and cited with disorderly conduct. Lombard DUI charged • Chad Segobiano, 26, of Lisle was charged with drunken driving and a signal violation at about 1:15 a.m. Jan. 31 at Meyers Road and 14th Street, police said. • James Ruzycki, 34, of Lombard and Anitra Morris, 32, of Chicago were charged with drunken driving at about 2:45 a.m. Feb. 1 at Madison Street and Westmore Road, police said. • Marian Herrera-Grant, 40, of Franklin Park was charged with drunken driving and driving without lights at about 1:45 a.m. Feb. 2 at Highland Avenue and Butterfield Road, police said. • Nicole Martin, 35, of Naperville was charged with drunken driving at about 3 a.m. Feb. 3 in the first block of Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. • Nicole M. Baker, 22, of La Grange was charged with felony drunken driving, failure to reduce speed and driving on a suspended license at about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 4 on Grace Street at the railroad tracks, police said. Retail theft charged • Tess McGourty, 17, of Westmont was charged with retail theft at about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. • Erica Sturwold, 17, of Schaumburg; Alexa Murtagh, 17, of Schaumburg; and a juvenile were charged with retail theft at about 2 p.m. Feb. 1 at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. • A juvenile was charged with retail theft at about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. • Elise Pokrywka and Nichole Medina, both 17-year-old Lombard residents, were charged with retail theft at about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. • A juvenile was charged with retail theft at about 8 p.m. Feb. 2 at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center, police said. Battery count filed • Jaqueline Connell, 45, of Lombard was charged with two counts of battery and resisting arrest at about 7 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 500 block of South Chase Avenue, police said. Youths caught drinking • Abraham Garcia, 19, of Villa Park was charged with underage drinking and obstruction at about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 600 block of East Butterfield Road, police said. Car reported stolen • A vehicle was reported stolen at about 12:15 a.m. Jan. 29 in the 300 block of West Harding Road, police said. Alcohol charge filed • Aaron Macias, 20, of Lombard was charged with drunken driving at about 5 a.m. Jan. 27 at Edson Avenue and Hickory Street, police said. Villa Park Alcohol charges filed • Jeanne E. Moore, 20, of Chicago was charged with drunken driving at about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 19 at Route 38 and Route 83, police said. Ray R. Murry, 49, of Plainfield was charged with drunken driving at about 1 a.m. Jan. 21 at St. Charles Road and Ardmore Avenue, police said. Criminal damage reported • About $23,050 in damages and items removed from four trucks was reported at about 3 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 700 block of North Princeton Avenue, police said. Gas reported stolen • About $40 in gas was reported stolen at about 6 p.m. Jan. 28 at Citgo, 150 W. North Ave., police said. Battery counts filed • John A. Abeuzzo, 21, of Villa Park was arrested for battery at about 1 a.m. Feb. 3 at Ardmore and Highland avenues, police said. • Deedra S. Vallandigham, 39, of Villa Park was arrested for two counts of battery at about 11 a.m. Jan. 28 in the 300 block of West Division Street, police said. • Ernie R. Siklas, 47, of Villa Park was arrested for battery at about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 200 block of East Park Avenue, police said. • Julio E. Solares, 33, of Addison was arrested for battery at about 8 a.m. Jan. 29 in the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue, police said. Burglary reported • A burglary in the 800 block of West North Avenue was reported at about 6:30 a.m. Jan. 29, police said. A window worth $800 was broken and about $300 in loose change was stolen. Retail theft charged • Elana T. Williams, 22, of Chicago was charged with retail theft at about 5 p.m. Jan. 28 at Burlington Coat Factory, 174 W. Roosevelt Road, police said. • Carols M. Ortiz, 47, of Addison was charged with retail theft at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Target, 50 E. North Ave., police said. • Schenae M. Turner, 25, of Chicago was charged with retail theft at about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at Wal-Mart, 900 S. Route 83, police said. • Joel Benitez-Cabrera, 35, of Addison was charged with retail theft at about 4:45 p.m. Jan. 31 at Target, 50 E. North Ave., police said. Drug charge filed • Andre Debruce, 23, of Villa Park was charged with possession of marijuana and obstruction at about 9:15 p.m. Jan. 25 in the 300 block of West St. Charles Road, police said.
