Aurora -

A Kane County jury convicted Shurron J. Clark, 19, of Lombard of aggravated battery to a teacher and set his bail at $50,000 Thursday after Clark bumped a male teacher in the chest at a trade school in Aurora.

Clark had been asked to leave because school officials found him talking on a cell phone—a violation of school rules—and Clark would not surrender the phone.

Clark bumped the teacher at the Fox Valley Tech and Trade Center as the teacher was trying to escort him off school grounds.
