Truck event carries cash to Cancer Society

ELMHURST, IL -
The Elmhurst Park District’s Touch A Truck event held earlier in September raised $1,370 for the American Cancer Society.
More than 1,000 people attended the annual event, which gives kids and adults the opportunity to touch and climb through trucks and vehicles. Fifteen companies, including Allied Waste, the Elmhurst Fire Department, United Airlines and UPS brought 24 vehicles to the event.
