City Council grants CE Rentals additional parking

The City Council approved a conditional use for Robert Sloan to use a remaining parcel of land as additional parking for his CE Rentals business Monday, Nov. 2.
Aldermen voting for the measure assured the legality of the conditional use in the residential district, while those against the measure were skeptical of granting CE Rentals “extra parking.”
The vote passed by a 10-4 vote, with aldermen Bram, Gutenkauf, Mulliner and Pezza dissenting.
