Parents and students alike can enjoy an rendition of “SchoolHouse Rock Live! Jr.” at Sandburg Middle School Auditorium this weekend, Nov. 20-21.
The production is based on the popular 1970s series that introduced generations to “How a Bill Becomes a Law,” and “Conjunction Junction.”
About 70 students are participating in the musical, which is directed by Tony White and Tom Herion.
“Everyone comes together to be a part of something that is larger than the sum of its parts,” White said in a news release. “The show is nearly all music, and is taking a unique effort on all of our parts.”
“School House Rock Live! Jr.” will show at 7 p.m. Friday, and 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, with tickets at $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. Dinner shows, including a slice of Roberto’s pizza and beverage, are at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday for $8 per adult and $7 per student or senior.
