The newly renovated Madison Early Childhood Center will host a community open house to celebrate the restoration of the facility from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.

The open house will include tours of the renovated classrooms, offices, and special program areas at the center at 130 W. Madison St., Elmhurst.

As of last school year, the center occupied half the building while the other half was designated for administrative offices. Because of increasing enrollment, additional classrooms were added and administrative offices were relocated to another facility.

The center was renovated this summer into a fully operational early childhood facility for less than $100,000.
