Elmhurst College welcomed its second Nobel Peace Prize winner April 13. Adil Najam. a global public policy expert, delived a lecture entitled "Democracy and the Muslim World."

Immaculate Conception High School will host two open houses this fall for seventh- and eighth-grade students and their parents.

On May 7, York Community High School seniors Anne Wilson and Alexander Wilcszewski received scholarships from the local Order of the Eastern Star Chapter, Elmhurst.

Carol Hallberg’s choice to move into school administration was not easy. After some 20 years of teaching elementary students, her heart belonged to the classroom. Still, she knew she would never be satisfied until she met her goal of becoming a principal.

As more and more of their students are opting to live on campus, Elmhurst College leaders are making sure their facilities will keep up with the changes. On March 3, college officials unveiled their 2007 master plan report. The report details significant improvements college leaders would like to make to the campus, including moving the football field and track and the addition of a performing arts center and parking deck.
