Joann and Ronald Kerstein of West Chicago celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 7, 2008, with a family dinner at the Fisherman’s Inn in Elburn. The couple was married June 7, 1958, at St. Hedwig’s Church in Chicago.
Joann worked for Associates Comm Corp. for 22 years and retired in 1999. Ronald was a volunteer EMT for the West Chicago Fire Department and worked for Hub Electric for 20 years and Handy Kup for 17 years and retired in 1995.
The Kersteins have four children and 10 grandchildren.
