Carole and Wesley Hookham of Glen Ellyn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 10, 2008, with a dinner with their children and grandchildren. The couple were married May 10, 1958, at First Congregational Church in Chicago.
Carole has worked as a Realtor for 36 years and currently is with Coldwell Banker. Wesley was the owner of Hookham Brothers with his brother, Sam Hookham, until he retired in 1990.
The Hookhams have three children: Roberta (John) Sieber, Perry (Tammy) Hookham and Glenn (Angie) Hookham; and seven grandchildren.
