Peggy and Paul Noland of Glen Ellyn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 14, 2008, with family in Wisconsin. The couple married June 14, 1958, at St. Mary’s Church in Woodstock.
Peggy worked as a teacher in Crystal Lake and Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the former president and member of the Marianjoy Auxiliary. Paul worked as a trial lawyer for 35 years in Chicago and Wheaton. He was also the executive vice president at Duo Fast Corp for four years and was a DuPage Circuit Court judge. He currently serves as an arbitrator and mediator in DuPage County.
The Nolands have five children, Mike (Carrie) Noland, Molly (Al) Mattaliano, Jaime (Harry) Manion, Bart (Greta) Noland and Dan (Lisa) Noland; and 16 grandchildren.
