Interest groups
Volunteer income tax counselors needed AARP is preparing to provide free tax preparation assistance to seniors in Lombard, Elmhurst and Villa Park during tax season. Volunteers are needed to help prepare income tax returns. Volunteers do not have to be tax experts, but should be able to prepare their own tax returns. One week day time training school in January and participants are asked to work two half-days a week from Feb. 1 to April 15.
