The 1st Annual Len Radtke Golf Outing to raise money for ALS research will be held at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Villa Olivia Country Club in Bartlett.
The outing was created in honor of Len Radtke of Carol Stream, who battled ALS for over three years before passing away last year.
The shotgun start will tee off at 12:30 p.m. with dinner and drinks to follow the golfing. There are several pricing options available for this event:
-- A full round of golf with cart, plus dinner and drinks, costs $125.
-- Golf without dinner and drinks costs $100.
-- Dinner and drinks without golf costs $45.
-- Hole sponsorship is $100. Those interested in sponsoring a hole or the bar package should contact Joe Gudella at (630) 669-9392.
Proceeds will benefit the Les Turner ALS Foundation with a small amount to go to the Radtke family.
