Alleged domestic battery
According to police, Mateusz Pokrzywnicki, 20, of Westmont, was charged with domestic battery after being arrested at 1:15 a.m. June 27 in the 200 block of Willard Place.

Pokrzywnicki also was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after he allegedly struck a person, police said.

Watch stolen
Police said a package containing a watch valued at $200 was stolen from a home between June 5 and June 27 in the 200 block of West Burlington Avenue.

Window damaged
A business window was damaged by an unknown object being thrown at it sometime overnight June 30 in the 100 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. The estimated damage is $200.

Cars burglarized smashed
Three cars were burglarized or damaged on Ogden Avenue between June 28 and 30.
According to police, the driver’s-side window was smashed in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue. The estimated damaged is $800.

Police said a car’s driver’s-side window was smashed and a radar detector was stolen in the 200 block of East Ogden Avenue. The estimated loss was $1,092.

An unlocked car was entered, and a $1,000 stereo was stolen in the 200 block of East Ogden Avenue, police added.

Van burglarized
According to police, a parked van was entered by force, and construction equipment was stolen sometime overnight July 1 in the 500 block of North Washington Street. The estimated loss is $1,800.

Bicycle stolen
A $150 mountain bike was stolen between 7:45 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. July 1 in the 0-100 block of West Quincy Street, police said.

Vehicle trespassed
Police said an unlocked parked car was entered, and items were moved around within the vehicle sometime overnight July 2 in the 0 to 100 block of Fountainhead Drive. No items were reported missing.

Laptop stolen from car
A car window was smashed and a laptop computer was stolen between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. July 2 in the 900 block of North Pasquinelli Drive, police said. The total loss is $1,650.

Domestic battery alleged
Police said Tiffani Turkal, 42, of Westmont, was charged with domestic battery after being arrested at 12:45 a.m. July 4 on the 200 block of Ashford Lane. According to police, Turkal allegedly struck another person.

Car window damaged
According to police, a car’s rear window was smashed, causing an estimated $400 in damage, overnight July 4 on the 200 block of North Cass Avenue.

GPS taken
A global positioning system was stolen after a car window was smashed overnight July 5 on the 500 block of Brookside Drive, police said. The estimated loss is $550.

Keys stolen
Police said an unlocked car was entered, and items were removed overnight July 6. The car was parked on the 1000 block of South Williams Street. According to police, the items taken were a set of keys and a book of stamps. The estimated loss is $10.

Domestic battery alleged
Michael T. Hayden, 38, of Westmont, was charged with domestic battery after being arrested at 10 p.m. July 6 on the 200 block of North Grant Street, police said. According to police, Hayden struck a person. He also was charged with resisting a peace officer, police added.

Window broken
According to police, a car window was broken, causing an estimated $200 in damages, overnight July 9 on the 6700 block of South Alpine Lane.

Sunglasses missing
Police said a pair of sunglasses was stolen from an unlocked car between noon and 1:30 p.m. July 9 while it was parked on the first block of West Ogden Avenue. The sunglasses are valued at $150.
