Worker injured at Heritage Festival

Downers Grove, IL -
A carnival worker was injured Friday around 8 p.m. while working the ride “Double Shock” at Heritage Festival in downtown Downers Grove, police said.
Sgt. David Bormann said the worker was on the ground fixing a gate when the ride hit him on the head.
Police said the worker was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital where he stayed over night and was released.
